The single most effective way to ensure we pass Issue 22 and save our schools is to VOTE! Vote early in person, vote by absentee ballot, or vote at the polls on election day. The last election for an operational levy at Lake passed by just SIX VOTES! This election will be just as close. Make sure your vote is one of them!
Find all you need to know about early voting, absentee ballots, and polling locations in our VOTE section!
You can multiply your vote by 10! Reach out to 10 friends or neighbors about the upcoming election and Issue 22. Ask if they have any questions about the levy. Help them request an absentee ballot if they are interested. Most importantly, remain in contact with them to confirm they vote!
Request a Neighbor Outreach packet of information so you have all the materials needed!
Our world is social and so is our small community! Many friends and family see information we share with them as important and coming from a trusted source. Make sure your friends see your support of our schools by sharing how Issue 22 will impact your children, share posts from the Keep Lake Great Facebook or Instagram pages, share factual information about the upcoming levy, and encourage them to VOTE! Make sure to #KeepLakeGreat when you post or share!
Visibility is key! Consider showing your support by putting a sign in your yard. We need our neighbors and friends to know YOU support Issue 22. Yard signs may be picket up at Beatty's Sports on Woodland.
Tell your friends, family, and neighbors why you support Issue 22 and ask them to VOTE YES! Sharing a personal story as to how this levy will impact your family can have a huge impact on how those closest to you choose to vote.
